Keeping Your Data Secure

All of your client information is encrypted, backed up, and stored on secured servers.

Ensuring your client data is safe & secure

There are many steps that have been taken to keep all the information you store with Therapy Companion secure.

Here's a simple explanation of how that happens.

Data transfer between you and Therapy Companion

When you look at the website address of our application website, you will see it is similar to

The "s" in https refers to the fact that we are transmitting the data to you securely, in an encrypted fashion, and a third party has verified that you are indeed interacting with the authentic Therapy Companion website.

Storing all data in a highly secure cloud environment

We're trusting the information of your clients with the largest internet storage companies in the world. That means their cloud hosting environment is fully equipped with custom-designed electronic access cards, alarms, vehicle access barriers, perimeter fencing, metal detectors, and biometrics.

Your data is always encrypted

All of the work done by your clients is encrypted in our database. On top of that, the entire database is encrypted once again by the cloud web host. So your client data has two layers of encryption working on it.

Your files are encrypted and protected

All files you upload to Therapy Companion are also encrypted, visible only to you & your clients.

Viewing of the files also requires a complex token to be added to the URL (done automatically for you by our application) even if somebody tried to "guess" the URL of a file, without a token the permission is denied.

Two factor authentication on the web server

In order for anybody to have access to our code, they need to pass a two factor authentication.

So not only do they need to have a highly complex "key" on their computer (which is only stored at Therapy Companion), they also need to respond to an electronic prompt that is sent to Therapy Companion owned devices.
